The Manchester United manager has had three transfer windows to shape his team, with huge amounts of money spent. Indeed, over that time he’s signed eight players, so inevitably at least one of his arrivals wasn’t going to work out.
Our local Red Devils’ are of the thinking that these two players really need a strong December to start to change the mind of, not only of the manager but the fans alike, after a miserable time of things of late.
Although Mourinho sets a high standard within the club for players to step up to, he has the ability to spot if a player needs a helping hand during difficult periods, despite his other problems with man-management.
Our landlord notices that Mourinho is a master deflector of attention, especially when it’s needed to protect either his team or a certain individual but there is a line and many of players walk that tightrope right now, much to his frustration.

Victor Lindelof
The recent summer signing Victor Lindelof is struggling to adapt to life in the Premier League. After being such an assured defender with Benfica, Mourinho knows the quality is there, but some take to the English way of football and some don’t.
Lindelof has got off on the wrong foot and created himself a name as a liability which will now take some turning around, though his recent performance against Watford suggested he can improve.
Henrik Mkhitaryan
The Armenian has had an up and down time at United, to say the least. His infamous rocky start was followed up by possibly being one of United’s best players of the season and being instrumental in the Europa League winning run.
This season started like the last finished but slowly has deteriorated over recent months to the point he wasn’t even named on the bench, his final weeks of the year has to be a rekindling of form kind of run.
