A lot of Crystal Palace fans have been waxing lyrical about Vicente Guaita, who kept his third clean sheet in a row as they beat Watford 1-0 at the weekend (Transfermarkt).
The club tweeted out a very impressive stat about the 33-year-old, highlighting that he has the most clean sheets out of all the Spanish goalkeepers in the league this season. His nine clean sheets put him currently joint fifth out of all the shot stoppers in the league, more than both David De Gea and Kepa Arrizabalaga and only two away from Burnley and England goalkeeper Nick Pope, who currently has the most (Premier League).
Guaita has impressed fans of the Eagles whilst playing between the sticks at Selhurst Park. He has been an ever-present for them this season, starting in 27 of their 29 Premier League matches (Transfermarkt) and he has made many vital saves in that time. He has been adored by fans, who will perhaps wonder how the club managed to sign him on a free transfer from Getafe in the summer of 2018 (Transfermarkt).
