Gary Cahill has got Crystal Palace fans buzzing for the start of the new season after sending out a tweet after his first day training.
The new Palace signing posted a Tweet saying that he “had a great first day”, before thanking people at the club for making him feel so welcome.

Cahill signed for Palace on a two-year deal on Tuesday, where the player will receive around £75,000-per-week, according to the Guardian, with Palace pipping Burnley, West Ham and Aston Villa to the signing.
The former England international has played 61 games for his country and played 191 league games for Chelsea.
He told Palace’s official site: “I’m glad to be here, I think it’s a good opportunity for me to continue my career in the Premier League, and to play in a good, exciting team. There are some very exciting, talented players here. I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
Cahill became Palace’s third signing of the summer, but the club look set to see a few more faces before their first game versus Everton on Saturday. According to David Ornstein, Victor Camarasa is set for a medical, James McCarthy is set to join the club for £3m and Palace want possibly two more defenders.
