Crystal Palace’s defeat at the hands of Derby County was made worse by the fact captain Luka Milivojevic got sent off for violent conduct when he attempted to headbutt an opponent. He’ll now be suspended for three matches and fans reacted sarcastically on Twitter to the news, with some pleased with the outcome.

Milivojevic has played in 20 of Palace’s 21 games in the Premier League this season in midfield, yet he’s struggled to find form at times. WhoScored have rated him 6.79/10 for his contributions so far this term, which is lower than his 7.19 rating from the campaign prior. However, the same site does point out he’s made the most interceptions on average per game in the whole squad. 1.7.
He’s also the third most prolific tackler in the team, with an average of 2.2 every 90 minutes, but some fans don’t think he’s worth a place in the starting 11 at the moment. When the club tweeted that he was sent off, some reacted sarcastically saying it’s a good thing that he’s off the field for three matches.
