A lot of the Crystal Palace fanbase are discussing Christian Benteke after reports have been circulating around the player’s future at the club.
Belgian media outlet Het Laatste Nieuws is reporting that the club do not want to get rid of the forward, whilst he does not ‘necessarily’ want to leave either, so it looks likely he will stay at the South London side. However if he did want to go, the club value him at around £9.20 million.

The Belgian striker has had a rollercoaster of a career at the club since his move in 2016 from Liverpool, per Transfermarkt, as he scored 17 goals, including 15 Premier League goals, in his first campaign, but since then he has only managed to score five goals.
Many are shocked at how he went from such a prolific finisher to one lacking confidence so quickly, however as of late, even though he has not been scoring, the Belgian has been putting in good performances, which has seen him keep his position in the starting eleven. Hopefully the attacker can start finding the back of the net when football continues.
