Several Crystal Palace fans are keen for Tottenham defender Kyle Walker-Peters to move to Selhurst Park after it was revealed that he likes the idea of joining Roy Hodgson’s side.
According to The Telegraph, the 22-year-old is hoping a loan switch to the Eagles can be arranged and that has prompted a positive response from supporters. Palace, of course, lost Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United last summer, so it is no surprise to see Hodgson looking at right-backs this month.
Should Walker-Peters end up swapping north London for south London, then he could find himself competing against the likes of Joel Ward and Martin Kelly for that right-back spot. He has averaged 2.7 tackles per game this season, which is more than what both Ward and Kelly are producing (via WhoScored), so the Tottenham youngster could prove to be an upgrade if he can maintain that.
There are no guarantees, but plenty of Palace fans would still welcome the addition of the player. Take a look at what they have been saying below…
