Some Crystal Palace fans have gone to Twitter to express their thoughts on Anthony Taylor after the Premier League announced that he would be the referee for the Eagles’ fixture against Watford this weekend (Premier League).
Taylor officiated a fixture between the two sides at Vicarage Road in August 2018, where pundits Graeme Souness and Jamie Carragher, along with the Eagles fanbase, could not believe he did not show a red card to Etienne Capoue (Daily Mail). Palace fans still have this in the back of their minds and Taylor could possibly be in for a hostile reception on Saturday at Selhurst Park.
The fixture between Palace and Watford can be a fiery one and the officials will have to be on top form to make sure the game is a fair one. The Eagles have won their last two fixtures whilst Watford managed to be the first team to beat Liverpool this season as they thrashed them 3-0 last weekend. (11v11)

I’ve never forgotten/forgiven Anthony Taylor from his awful officiating (for both sides) when we lost 3-2 to Sheffield Utd away back in 2010.
One of the worst refs going.https://t.co/WaAFKA3ZwJ
