Loads of Crystal Palace fans have been left furious by an update on their pursuit of Nathan Ferguson, as reports claim an issue with the medical has halted the deal.
Eagles fans were no doubt delighted on Thursday when their club agreed a £10m deal to sign Ferguson, potentially the long-term successor to Aaron Wan-Bissaka. However, reports on deadline day are slightly less optimistic, as The Athletic claim there is a ‘glitch’ in the move.
This has been backed by reports from The Daily Mail and Daily Telegraph reporter Mike McGrath, who claims the barrier currently blocking the deal is ‘a fitness issue’ for the 19 year-old right-back.
Ferguson has been exceptional for Championship promotion contenders West Brom this season, scoring once, providing one assist and averaging 2.4 tackles and 1.5 successful dribbles per game, via Whoscored.
