Loads of Crystal Palace fans have been left seething at the latest transfer news, as reports claim Jordon Ibe is now a shock target for the Selhurst Park outfit.
Talk about a downgrade. Eagles fans were going crazy with excitement on Thursday when reports claimed they had agreed a £16m fee plus add-ons to sign Jarrod Bowen, who has 16 league goals this season and 52 across the last three campaigns.
According to The Sun however, they have now turned their attention towards Bournemouth’s Ibe, who has struggled since his move from Liverpool, scoring just three times in the league in the last four seasons, or 17 times less than Bowen. It would certainly be a shock for Palace to turn to a man with just 48 minutes of Premier League playing time this term to solve their winger woes, and fans are understandably hating the latest links.
One journalist has claimed no official contact has been made between the clubs, but that the Cherries are ‘desperate’ to get rid of Ibe, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…
