Several Crystal Palace fans were left disappointed after Brentford striker Ollie Watkins ruled out leaving Griffin Park this month.
The 24-year-old had previously been linked with a move to the Eagles, with Sky Sports reporting last month that his club had slapped a £25m price tag on him.

However, speaking in an interview with the British broadcaster, Watkins confirmed that he would not be moving this transfer window.
Watkins has been in fantastic form in the Championship this season, bagging 17 goals in 26 games.
It is the sort of firepower Palace could do with up front, especially given Christian Benteke’s struggles this term. The Belgium international has failed to register in a single game, meaning Roy Hodgson’s side have been forced to rely heavily on Jordan Ayew for goals, with the 28-year-old grabbing five for himself in the Premier League.
When you consider that, it is unsurprising that some Palace fans were disappointed with Watkins’ interview.
