Lots of Crystal Palace fans have expressed their joy at Jordan Ayew’s performance as he scored the only goal in the M23 Derby.
Brighton dominated possession (as per WhoScored they had 67% of the ball) and missed a couple of chances to take the lead, but they were caught out on the break. Christian Benteke managed to find Ayew, who squeezed the ball past Matt Ryan late on in the second half. The striker has been a revelation for the Eagles this season since his permanent £2.52 million transfer (per Transfermarkt), and all 7 of his goals scored this season have been crucial, providing Palace with 12 points during the campaign.
