Judging by some of the tweets below, Wayne Hennessey can certainly be viewed as a decisive figure amongst Crystal Palace fans.

Rightly or wrongly, the Welsh international has been criticised by his fans – who had a tough job being the successor to club legend Julian Speroni – and today was no different.
Crystal Palace drew 2-2 with Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon, managing to come from behind after going 2-0 down within the first 15 minutes thanks to two goals from corners.
The first goal – scored by Sokratis – could certainly be partially blamed on Hennessey. After initially failing to deal with Nicolas Pepe’s corner with a limp punch, he fell to the ground and took a long while to get up before the Arsenal defender could hit the ball past him.
The second goal can’t really be blamed on Hennessey, though many fans have suggested that the defence’s organisation seems to be worse when playing with Hennessey rather than Vicente Guaita, who is out with an injury.
Hennessey did show glimpses of quality in the match as well, most notably pulling off a great save with just a few minutes to go from David Luiz.
Here is what some Palace fans were saying about the goalkeeper below…
Hennessey cost us two goals today. Support can only go so far! The bloke isn’t even good enough for league one!

We were given a perfect excuse to bin off Hennessey with the Nazi episode yet for some inexplicable reason this cretin remains at #cpfc The day this imbecile leaves this great club will be a great day..

Match summary: VAR is great and on corners we might as well leave an empty net when Hennessey is playing #cpfc

The time it takes Hennessey to get off the floor for the first goal is embarrassing.
