Plenty of Crystal Palace fans have been singing Wilfried Zaha’s praises following some very interesting comments from manager Roy Hodgson.
Following the Eagles’ 1-1 draw with Norwich City on New Year’s Day, Hodgson told reporters (and the club’s official website) that the 27-year-old did not train before the game and admitted he was surprised by his talisman’s decision to play in the end amid fitness concerns.

The decision to do so delighted supporters at a time where some might be doubting Zaha’s commitment to the club.
The Ivory Coast international, of course, handed in that transfer request last summer to force a move following interest from Arsenal and has also been linked with Chelsea in recent days.
However, until something concrete materialises, he looks fully committed to the cause at Selhurst Park based on Hodgson’s words.
