Many Crystal Palace fans are praising manager Roy Hodgson after the club tweeted out a message written by the manager about the current situation.
With football currently being postponed due to recent events, many fans are out of touch with the players and staff at the club who they normally see either in person or on their screens weekly. But a lovely letter from Hodgson seemed to brighten up fans of the Eagles day’s as he spoke about what the squad is doing and his thoughts on the current football season as well as thanking the National Health Service.
The former England manager, via Transfermarkt, believes the campaign needs to be completed as he said, via Crystal Palace: “Everyone is in total agreement we need an end to this season. We don’t want artificial means of deciding who wins the league, who gets into the Champions League, who gets relegated and promoted.”
It will be interesting to see whether this can happen, but it would be good for Palace fans if the club could finish the season, as they had won their last three fixtures against Newcastle United, Watford and Brighton, via BBC Sport. They were also performing at their best since their return to the Premier League in 2014, per Transfermarkt. The South London side were at the best points tally they had ever had at that stage of the campaign.
