Many Crystal Palace fans are flooding to Twitter to reply to Patrick van Aanholt’s tweet that he sent out after Palace’s 1-0 victory over Watford on the weekend.
It is Crystal Palace’s third victory in a row, with all three games ending 1-0 and has pushed the Eagles up to 11th in the Premier League where they currently sit on 39 points. (BBC Sport)
Van Aanholt tweeted out ‘Europe anyone?’ after the game meant that the club is now only four points away from a Europa League qualification spot. The highest Palace have finished in the Premier League since their promotion in 2013 was 10th back in the 2014/15 season, but this season, the League has been impossible to predict (apart from first and second) and only nine points separate Chelsea in fourth from Palace in 11th.

Other surprising candidates battling it out for Europe include Burnley and recently promoted Sheffield United. The Blades currently sit in 7th and are already on 43 points. (BBC Sport)
