Crystal Palace announced yesterday that their visit of bitter rivals Brighton on December 16th would move kick-off times from 8pm to 7.45pm.
Announced on their official website, no actual reason is given for the decision and, while it may not seem like a big deal, some fans online weren’t particularly pleased given that they’d be rushing to make the game after work anyway, so making it earlier only adds to the difficulty.
The Eagles will be looking for revenge on their bitter rivals after losing home and away to them last season but have struggled at Selhurst Park so far this season. As per WhoScored, they rank 16th in the Premier League when it comes to home form alone though luckily their M23 rivals are within the bottom three worst teams away from home so far this season.
