Crystal Palace: Fans praise Peter Ramage following tweet

A lot of Crystal Palace fans are flooding to Twitter to praise former player Peter Ramage after he retweeted the club’s post of the interview he recently did with them.

The 36 -year-old former centre-back signed for the club on a free transfer in 2012 from Queens Park Rangers, per Transfermarkt, and no Palace fan could have expected the impact the Englishman would have at the club in his 67 appearances as he was crucial to the their promotion to the Premier League in the 2012/13 campaign, via BBC Sport.

He formed a solid defensive partnership with Damien Delaney, playing 40 times in that Championship season and even managing to pick up four goals, per Transfermarkt.

This clearly has meant that he is a popular player for many of the fanbase, and you could tell as the replies to his tweet poured in. Many were praising him, with one calling him an ‘absolute legend’.
