Crystal Palace: Fans rave over ex-Eagles forward Clinton Morrison

A lot of Crystal Palace fans were raving about former striker Clinton Morrison after the club posted a montage of some of his best goals for the club as they wished him a happy birthday.

The forward turned 41 yesterday and is happily enjoying retirement, and he can do so knowing how appreciated he is by many fans of the south London club.

The Irish international made 237 appearances for the Eagles, scoring 102 goals, as per Sporting-heroes, and with such an impressive goalscoring tally, it is easy to see why he is so fondly remembered by many Palace fans.

He has seen it all at the club, as he has been part of promotion to (and relegation from) the Premier League with the Eagles, so he truly has been through thick and thin, which is something that many fans would respect and appreciate.

Morrison also featured for Coventry City and Birmingham during his career and finished his time on the pitch at Exeter City, as per Transfermarkt.
