Crystal Palace have a big squad, and as such, two forwards currently aren’t getting a look in – Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham.
This is due to the fact that Wilfried Zaha is in great form and it looks like Roy Hodgson prefers Michy Batshuayi to the duo.
Benteke scored 17 goals in his first season for the Eagles (Transfermarkt) but has struggled ever since and only managed six goals in the following three campaigns.
Meanwhile, Wichkam’s biggest issue is his injuries. He has eleven goals for the South London side but he has missed 96 games in total due to injury, with a cruciate ligament rupture causing him to miss 470 days of football at one point (Transfermarkt).
The Sun are reporting (via @cpfc_xtra) that both players could leave Crystal Palace in the New Year despite recently signing new contracts at Selhurst Park.
