Crystal Palace summer signing Eberechi Eze is seen as a player with a lot of potential, and this has only been highlighted further by his efforts for the England U21 squad recently.
The 22 year-old played for the young Lions under Aidy Boothroyd in the last international break in a Euro’s qualifier against Andorra. He played for the whole 90 minutes and picked up an assist in the 3-3 draw, and he clearly impressed as he has been selected again.
Many Palace fans are hoping manager Roy Hodgson will allow Eze to have a little bit of attacking freedom like he has on international duty. Hodgson is favouring a 4-4-2 currently with Eze playing as a left-midfielder when he starts.
Former manager of Eze, Mark Warburton, raved over the player, saying: “There are no limits for Eze. It is down to him and how hard he works. Ebe is a tremendous talent.”
Hodgson has often preferred the more defensive Jeffrey Schlupp. It looks like this is frustrating a lot of the South London fan base following some of their replies to Eze’s call up.
