A lot of Crystal Palace fans are loving an idea, which is also backed by Sevilla’s club Twitter which would mean the South London club would win the Premier League.
After recent events, football in England has been postponed until at least 4th April, per The Guardian, and Head of Football at JOE Matthew Stanger tweeted an idea for if the season has to be decided in a different way than normal.
Their idea was to base everyone’s position in the Premier League off of the last three games played. This would see Roy Hodgson’s side top of the table, as they are the only side to pick up three wins in their last three games.
The victories have all been 1-0 and have come against Newcastle, Brighton and Watford and has pushed the team 11 points away from relegation, via BBC Sport.
As La Liga face the same situation as England, Spanish side Sevilla, who would be top of their league based on results from the last three games, per BBC Sport, have also agreed with the idea.
