It has been announced that the upcoming transfer window will last for ten weeks, and it looks like Crystal Palace fans are going to have another window of speculation as Wilfried Zaha is already being linked with a move away from South London.
The latest link has seen The Daily Mail suggest that the Ivorian has four clubs currently interested in him including fellow Premier League sides Newcastle and Everton, whilst European giants Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich are also keen on the attacker.
Although the winger has struggled this season when it comes to goal contributions as he has only managed four goals and three assists, per WhoScored, he still shows why some of Europe’s biggest teams are wanting to sign him as he manages 1.5 shots and completes 4.4 successful dribbles a game.
Since Roy Hodgson became manager in September 2017, the club has only spent £28.29 million on transfers, and despite the selling Aaron Wan-Bissaka for £49.50 million last summer, the club have still not really spent it. This has seen the Eagles fail to bring in a lot of attackers to help Zaha, and with the quality he possesses, it is understandable if he wants to move to a club that perhaps has a little more ambition to win silverware.
Jordan Ayew has luckily been a revelation for the South London side this season, scoring nine goals in the Premier League, but if he hadn’t of stepped up, many would have wondered where the club would be right now with Zaha not having his best season.
Many Palace fans have been reacting to this news, some think the club need the money due to the lack of transfers lately, whilst others would like to see how he does at a big club in Europe.
Here is what they said following the news:

Think he should have gone last season, better for him and Palace. Get 40m max now, and due to a combination of high wages and form, it could prove difficult. Team’s might look at the likes of, younger talent from Brentford or in the Championship. Things happen for a reason….

Bayern would be the best spot for him, but Wilf and Joao Felix at Atlético Madrid would be 🤩
I don’t want to see him in the EPL for another team especially Everton or Newcastle

I think it’s time for him to move on. He isn’t playing his best I think he wants a new challenge.

Time to go . He hasn’t done anything over the whole season .

If we sell him I’d rather him go abroad and play in champions league. If we are gonna do it though we need to not mess about and get it done early so we can actually use the money and build a squad that doesn’t rely so heavily on one outstanding player https://t.co/J4OdRbwmCi
