Many Crystal Palace fans have discussed the prospect of signing Liverpool forward Rhian Brewster.
The 19-year-old attacker has featured twice for the first-team this season, with both games coming in EFL Cup ties – a tournament Liverpool have reached the quarter-final in despite playing a number of youngsters.

Despite never scoring a senior goal, he has allegedly caught the eye of the Eagles and Roy Hodgson, who could make a move for the 19-year-old come January.
The Football Insider report states that Hodgson’s side have contacted the Reds over a potential move in the next window.
However, it is said that Jurgen Klopp will not make a decision on Brewster’s future until after they have played Aston Villa in the last eight of the League Cup.
Many Palace fans responded to the rumours with varied responses, with some suggesting that they should promote their own youth like James Daly instead.
Here are some of the replies…

Just watched some highlights of him and to me I don’t think he’s a player that’s going to wow you and make you say we must sign him right away. He has some skill, pace, and speed. He can score. He looks more like a player we would sign and put in our youth academy

“Crystal Palace have set aside £25m for a striker” oh palace.

£25m set aside which means we will bid for strikers valued at £40m, get nowhere, and then end up with Jordan Ayew’s brother.
