Many of the Crystal Palace fan base are reacting to a transfer update surrounding Ligue 1 midfielder Morgan Sanson.
According to France Football, via Sport Witness, Sanson’s current club Marseille need to make around €60m this summer and will have to sell some of their first-team players, with the midfielder looking likely to be one of the expendables in the coming months.
It was reported in August that the Eagles had a bid rejected for the player in the summer, and it is not certain how much he will put up for sale for, but if he is put on the market Palace as well as West Ham will be looking to sort a deal.
Reports from L’Equipe (via Sport Witness) claimed that the Hammers also tried to sign Sanson in the past but they had a £30m rejected. He has featured 27 times for the club this season, scoring five times and contributing to five assists, via Transfermarkt.
It would be quite a lot for Palace to spend, and many have been conflicting over whether this transfer news is good or not:
📰 Marseille may be forced to sell Morgan Sanson, as they need to recoup around €60m this summer.
Crystal Palace and West Ham will 'come sniffing' once the player goes on the market.
