A lot of Crystal Palace fans are reacting to the latest news surrounding West Bromwich Albion defender Nathan Ferguson possibly joining the club.
According the the Athletic, the defender, who has played across the back four at the Baggies this season, will be joining the Eagles when his contract expires.

This was due to expire at the end of the current season, but with it being postponed from March until June he could sign a short-term contract extension to see out the season. However, this looks unlikely as the media outlet goes on to say that he will spend most of the summer recovering from surgery to his knee, which stopped the transfer happening on deadline day in January.
With Palace’s only proper right-back at the moment being Joel Ward, who is 30, Ferguson would be an ideal player for the South London side to sign, as he is only 19 years-old and already showing great potential in the Championship, with 2.4 tackles and 1.9 clearances on average per game, via WhoScored.
It is therefore understandable why many Palace fans are excited about potentially signing the prospect, with many taking to Twitter to air their views:
