Many Palace fans have reacted to news that Napoli are targeting their 26-year-old ace Wilfried Zaha.
Sky Sports News had reported that Carlo Ancelotti’s side were prepared to spend £54.6m on the winger, but there are also reports in Italy saying that the rumour is false, as per Sport Witness.

Zaha has generated a lot of interest this summer, with Arsenal, Everton and Chelsea all being linked to signing the Ivory Coast international.
Arsenal have looked the most likely all summer to secure his signature, but the £72m signing of Nicolas Pepe from Lille has made that look an unrealistic possibility despite rumours suggesting Arsenal are still after the winger (iNews).
If Napoli are interested in Zaha they might find it tough to cough up the cash. The Palace academy graduate is valued at £80m by the Eagles, and they have no intention to sell him unless that valuation is met.
Palace have looked more and more likely to hang on to their star player the longer the transfer window has gone on; Zaha is now running out of viable destinations.
However, that hasn’t meant that this Napoli rumour hasn’t worried a few Palace fans. After a Crystal Palace news account tweeted the rumour, many fans responded with their opinions. Some fans commented on how it would be ludicrous to sell him so soon to the end of the window, while others suggested that if they got a few players in return it might interest them.
Here are some of the best responses below…
It’s too late to do any big business, would be so dumb to sell him now.
