Loads of Crystal Palace fans have been rejecting the speculation linking their club with a move for Manchester United captain Ashley Young.
According to The Sun, the south London outfit have joined the likes of Inter Milan and Lazio in the race to sign the 34-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the season. United are said to be eager for him to extend his stay at Old Trafford by another year but, with regular starts a desire, an exit could now be on the cards.
Young could get just that at Selhurst Park, with The Sun also reporting that Palace boss Roy Hodgson, a long-term admirer, believes he can offer the player regular first-team football. With Inter Milan currently flying in Serie A under Antonio Conte, though, a move there could also be enticing.
And looking at what some Palace fans have had to say on Twitter, it would seem that they would prefer it if he did choose a move to the San Siro over a switch to Selhurst Park. Now 34, it appears some are concerned by his age, while others believe the Eagles are sorted in the left-back position.
