With Crystal Palace announcing that they will be going on a pre-season tour to Australia in July, the club has been tweeting highlights of past Australians to play for the club.
A lot of fans of the South London club have been loving the highlights they have shown of former club captain Mile Jedinak, who enjoyed 6 seasons at Selhurst Park (Transfermarkt).
The defensive midfielder was pivotal to Crystal Palace’s promotion and in making sure the Eagles stayed in the league but started to fall out of favour with ex-manager Alan Pardew, who stripped Jedinak of the captaincy and allowed him to move to Aston Villa.
The player scored 10 goals for the club, mainly from the penalty spot but his great free-kick in a 3-1 victory against Liverpool will surely always be remembered by the Palace faithful.
