Many Crystal Palace fans have enjoyed a post on Twitter from Jeffrey Schlupp in which he says he ‘Can’t wait’ for Premier League football to return.
Due to recent events, football across the globe has been postponed, and many players have now not been on the pitch since March. However Schlupp has been injured with a hip injury since mid December, per Transfermarkt, and he was just returning to match fitness.
It seems like the Ghanian has waited long enough and just wants to return to what he does best. The former Premier League winner with Leicester City has made 95 appearances since he joined the club, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists whilst he is seen as a great asset by manager Roy Hodgson due to the fact that he can play across many positions, per Transfermarkt.
During his time in South London, fans have seen him play on the wing, in midfield and at left-back, and a player like this is so useful to have in the division.
Fans have clearly missed watching him on the pitch, as they flooded to his tweet to express that they also are excited for the sport and in particular the player to return.
