Palace have got off to an electric start despite a less than inspiring transfer window, one which saw star man Wilfried Zaha hand in a transfer request, the club sell their Player of the Season in Aaron Wan-Bissaka and then no reinvestment in the full-back positions.
Out of Palace’s opening eight games this campaign, the club have won an impressive four matches, while also drawing two and losing just the two. The Eagles currently sit in sixth in the league and are only two points off the league champions Manchester City – who are currently in second place.
There have been a number of great moments so far in this campaign for Palace, including a 2-1 win away at Manchester United as well as a 2-1 win away at West Ham – both having goals within the final five minutes to win them.
