Many Crystal Palace fans have expressed their love for defender Gary Cahill after he praised the fans following their match on Sunday.

The Eagles managed to rescue a 2-2 draw with the Gunners after they fell 2-0 behind within the first 10 minutes.
Palace managed to pull one back before the break as Luka Milivojevic slotted home a penalty won by Wilfried Zaha. The Ivory Coast international was initially booked for simulation, however, after a VAR check by the referee, it was deemed that he was clearly fouled.
The comeback was complete when Jordan Ayew was able to head home an inch-perfect cross from James McArthur.
While things at the back were surprisingly shaky for sixth-placed Palace considering their great start to the season, after the initial 10 minutes the defenders were able to compose themselves and put in a good performance. Both goals were conceded from corners, which Roy Hodgson will surely not be happy with at all, but it’s a point that everyone from SE25 probably would have taken before the game.
Cahill said the support from Palace fans was “great” after the match, to which many fans responded with their positive messages.
