Some Crystal Palace fans are not letting Cenk Tosun get away with his awful miss in the 2-0 defeat to Southampton.
After a terrible bit of play from Jannik Vestergaard, the 28-year-old was presented with a golden opportunity to put his side in front, only to sky the ball out of Selhurst Park. It was a shocking miss and several supporters were quick to point that out.
Overall, it was a disappointing night for the new Palace signing who failed to register a single shot on target, contributing to his dismal match rating of 5.8 on WhoScored. No player on the pitch recorded a lower score.
Tosun has shown some positives, though, scoring in that 2-2 draw against Manchester City. That, however, did not stop fans from criticising him for his miss, with one supporter claiming that his team-mate Christian Benteke would have had no problem dispatching such an opportunity.
