Many Crystal Palace fans have given their responses to the latest rumours linking them with Wolfsburg forward Wout Weghorst.
According to reports from Calciomercato, the Eagles are taking a closer look at the forward as they look to bolster their attacking options going into the second half of the season.

Since joining the German outfit, the 27-year-old has been in red-hot form, scoring 22 goals in 44 Bundesliga appearances, with 8 in all competitions so far this campaign.
Palace currently have a pretty limited pool of players to choose from; Christian Benteke, Jordan Ayew and Connor Wickham are the only established strikers at the club, and none of them have scored more than five Premier League goals in a season since the 16/17 campaign.
Despite the lack of goals at Palace and Weghorst’s impressive record in recent years, there was a pretty mixed response from fans. One fan suggested that he could be a similar purchase to Alexander Sorloth, while others suggested he looks a good buy.
