A number of Crystal Palace fans were left feeling short-changed by the performance of attacker Wilfried Zaha this afternoon.
While the Eagles came from behind to draw 1-1 at home to Arsenal, it was Jordan Ayew and not Zaha who plundered the equaliser for Roy Hodgson’s men. Indeed, the Ivorian winger endured a frustrating afternoon against the Gunners.
The 27-year-old did not record any shots against Mikel Arteta’s side and was guilty of poor ball control on eight occasions, more than anyone else on the pitch. Only one of his five crosses found a team-mate and he played just 28 passes, fewer than six of the other 10 players to start for Crystal Palace. [via WhoScored]
Zaha is marooned on three goals for the season after being kept scoreless for the fifth match in succession, while he has just one assist from his last 12 Premier League outings. [via TransferMarkt]
