Crystal Palace: Fans want club to sign Filip Kostic

A lot of Crystal Palace fans are begging for the club to sign Bundesliga player Filip Kostic, after the latest reports suggest that he is available for just £19 million according to Frankfurter Rundschau, via CPFC NEWS HQ.

The 27 year-old has enjoyed a decent season with Eintracht Frankfurt this campaign where he has managed four goals and nine assists in 29 appearances, per Transfermarkt.

The Serbian is averaging an impressive 2.6 key passes, 2.7 shots and 2.9 successful dribbles per game, which is more than both Andros Townsend (0.5, 0.3, 1.7) and Jordan Ayew (0.8, 1.6, 2) who currently play for Palace, per WhoScored. The Eagles also have Wilfried Zaha, who only beats Kostic in successful dribbles per game. (4.7)

The left midfielder was linked with the South London side earlier this season, but the price tag was much larger at the time, via 90min, so it will be interesting to see how the club reacts as the valuation of the player has now dropped due to recent events.

Loads of Palace fans have urged the club to sign Kostic, with one even suggesting that they would let Townsend leave if the winger does join the Eagles.

Here is what Palace fans have said following the news:
