Plenty of Crystal Palace fans were left feeling broken after Jairo Riedewald had to be taken off in the club’s 1-0 loss to Derby County in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
The 23-year-old added to the Eagles’ injury woes when he was forced off and replaced by Sam Woods in the 75th minute.

He joins Max Meyer, who was also a casualty at Selhurst Park over the weekend, and Mamadou Sakho on the injury list, while there are also doubts about Wilfried Zaha’s fitness.
“I’ve never known a situation where so many players are injured,” manager Roy Hodgson was quoted as saying by the club’s official website after the game, with Palace having struggled with an array of injury problems all season.
And having watched Riedewald become the latest victim to fall to injury, some Palace fans have quite simply had enough.
It also does not get any easier for the south London club, who face Arsenal next when the Premier League returns.
