Many Crystal Palace fans have voiced their concerns over the youth team after they recorded another loss yesterday.
The U23s have only won twice this season – 1-0 against Crewe U23s and 5-1 against Bolton – with the last win coming on September 16.

In addition to their problems on the pitch, there have also been a few changes off it. Richard Shaw recently left the club ‘to pursue other opportunities’ and another former player in Shaun Derry has been employed by the club again to work with the youth teams.
The Eagles’ young guns went ahead after 37 minutes following a thumping shot from Brandon Pierrick and went into the break in the lead. James Daly was then subbed off due to an injury at half-time, and things went from bad to worse for Palace when Antoine Semenyo equalised from the penalty spot. In added time, Tyreeq Bakinson finished off proceedings by scoring the winner to extend the youth team’s terrible run.
Many Palace fans responded to a tweet criticising the team, while another tweeted to show just how many injuries they have too.
Here are some replies below…
Every game we take the lead and end up losing do these youngsters never learn or are these games not taken seriously? #CPFC

Do they leave the pitch on 90 minutes every week?

Think James Daly went off injured for the U23s at half-time with an ankle problem. I make that eight of #CPFC's U23s out with injury. https://t.co/OwRjZv15Gy
