Wayne Hennessey had a stunner in the Wales net on Tuesday evening as they qualified for just their third major tournament, but that still wasn’t enough to win the praise from certain Palace fans.
Videos could be seen in the Wales changing room of superstars such as Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey singing the ‘keeper’s name after the full-time whistle, as he put in a top performance to secure qualification.

The Crystal Palace Twitter account tweeted a video of one particular double save to which many fans still replied to with negative messages, with one calling it ‘lucky’ and another saying that ‘genuinely nobody cares about him anymore’.
The Wales number 1 has been at Selhurst Park for over five years now after joining from Wolves in 2014, yet fans still haven’t been able to take to him even after 129 games for the club, per Transfermarkt.
Hennessey has played just twice in the league this season, after an injury to Vicente Guaita gave him a brief opportunity, with the Spaniard playing every other game.
