Crystal Palace are leading the way to sign Blackburn Rovers forward Adam Armstrong, according to The Daily Mail.

And a number of Palace supporters have been sharing their thoughts on the news on social media.

The Daily Mail claim that the Eagles, Norwich City, Southampton and Watford are all interested in the 24-year-old, but it’s Selhurst Park that is the forward’s preferred destination.

Palace have had an initial bid rejected by Rovers, who are holding out for £20m for their striker. The Eagles remain in advanced talks over a move, with Armstrong netting 29 goals in 43 appearances last season.

Armstrong, who can also play out wide, appears to be Patrick Vieira’s next target and first potential attacking addition.

Sky Sports also picked up on Palace’s interest in Armstrong, believing they are in advanced talks over a move.
