Former Crystal Palace ace Connor Wickham has completed a move to Preston North End on a short-term contract [BBC].

Spending an injury plagued six years at SE25, the 28-year-old striker managed to notch 16 goal contributions in 50 appearances; 11 goals and six assists [Transfermarkt].

Wickham was released from Crystal Palace in June 2021 after a long history of injury problems, whilst he was a target for Reading during the transfer window [Berkshire Live].

Now, he has finally found a new home at Deepdale, signing for Preston North End on a short-term deal until just after the new year [BBC].

He could even potentially make his debut for his new employers this week against Sheffield United.
