Crystal Palace and Celtic appear to be battling it out for Eddie Howe’s services.
And a number of Palace supporters have been reacting to an update regarding the club’s pursuit of the former Bournemouth boss.
According to a Palace source, as reported by Football Insider, Eagles chairman Steve Parish is leading the search for a potential successor to Roy Hodgson and feels Howe has a lot to offer.
Talks have been held and Parish wants the 43-year-old to change the mindset of the dressing room and play a more expansive style of football.
Burnley boss Sean Dyche and the available Frank Lampard are also on a three-man Selhurst Park shortlist.
Howe has had second thoughts on a move to Celtic after verbally agreeing to take over in Glasgow and is leading the way in Palace's search for a new boss alongside Dyche.
