Plenty of Crystal Palace fans have been reacting to an update on reported managerial target Lucien Favre on social media.

Reports from The Sun on Wednesday evening shared Palace’s interest in the former Borussia Dortmund manager, with Steve Parish widening the search for Roy Hodgson’s long-term successor.

The Guardian have now claimed that the Eagles have made contact with Favre’s representatives, with talks set to be held between the two in the coming days.

Parish reportedly likes Favre’s attacking style and blooding of young players; however, The Guardian do add that Burnley’s Sean Dyche is also still a contender for the Selhurst Park vacancy.

Favre has been out of work since December and is thought to be keen on managing in the Premier League.
