Crystal Palace could still look to bring one of their January transfer targets to Selhurst Park in the summer.
The Sun journalist Alan Nixon has claimed on Twitter that The Eagles remain interested in Chelsea’s Gary Cahill.
PALACE. Interest in Gary Cahill won't go away. Leaves CHELSEA in summer. Free. Top signing for someone.

The defender’s current deal at Stamford Bridge is set to expire in the summer and it appears that he is allowed to depart.
And, it would seem Roy Hodgson could be prepared to try and bring him to south London.
The Eagles added Michy Batshuyai to their squad on the final day of the transfer window this January and it would seem another raid on Chelsea could be on the cards.
Hodgson’s side have managed to improve as things have gone on in the Premier League this season, as they continue to climb away from the relegation zone after a 2-0 win against Fulham at the weekend.
The Verdict:

Cahill would be an excellent addition for Crystal Palace if they were able to land him in the summer.
The defender is hugely experienced and would help The Eagles to tighten up at the back as conceding goals has been a bit of a problem for them this season.
However, despite his advancing years, it remains to be seen if Cahill would consider a move to Selhurst Park or whether he were to receive any other potential offers.
