Leeds United have been left ‘fuming’ after Conor Gallagher made a U-turn and decided to favour a move to Crystal Palace, according to 90min’s Krishan Davis. 

And, as to be expected, a number of Eagles fans have been sharing their delight on social media.

News emerged on Thursday on the Chelsea midfielder’s decision after holding talks with the Whites and the Eagles.

The 21-year-old spoke on FaceTime to Patrick Vieira and Dougie Freedman, while Leeds tried to lure him to Elland Road with a presentation.

According to 90min, Gallagher had agreed on terms in Yorkshire and even had a medical before having his head turned by Palace at the last minute.

He now looks set to link up with former Blues academy teammate Marc Guehi, who signed for Palace earlier this month on a five-year deal.
