Crystal Palace are reportedly leading the chase for Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek, with the transfer update inevitably having plenty of Palace supporters talking on social media.

According to a report from TEAMtalk, the Eagles are long-term admirers of the 25-year-old, with Aston Villa also in the mix.

Loftus-Cheek isn’t thought to be in Chelsea’s long-term plans, and even though his Stamford Bridge deal still has more than three years left to run, it seems as if a summer exit could be on the cards. A spate of injuries have not helped the England international to truly establish himself at the Blues.

The attacking midfielder has been a regular under Scott Parker at Fulham this season, making 28 appearances for the Cottagers in all competitions. Fulham would like to keep Loftus-Cheek at Craven Cottage, but their chances of signing the Chelsea man depend on their precarious Premier League status.
