Our Tottenham Hotspur fans here in the Transfer Tavern will be hoping to see some new faces arrive at their new stadium next season.
Spurs have crept into the top-four places in recent weeks, after Chelsea have had a nightmare first few months of the year. However, at the start of the season, it didn’t look too good for Mauricio Pocchettino has his team seemed to struggle.
Spurs have had a settled side for some time now, but our punters feel that it needs a shakeup and revitalising ahead of next season for fear of it becoming stagnant.
If Pochettino is to bring any kind of trophy to Spurs during his time at the club, then our barman thinks he needs to be a little more ruthless in his team. With that in mind, our landlord takes a look at TWO players who could come in and really shake things up within the squad…
Nabil Fekir

Nabil Fekir is having one of the best seasons in Europe at present. He is banging in goals left, right and centre and helping Lyon in Ligue 1 climb the table. Indeed, His range of passing and dribbling ability would surely mix things up at Spurs and, he could be the player to sit just behind Harry Kane whilst feeding him assist after assist, much like this season.
He’d be a truly wonderful addition.

The Valencia forward is only 22 and is having a great season in La Liga. Our regulars feel that Harry Kane needs a quality and young back-up to push him on further with a little healthy competition, alongside someone who can come in for the England striker and take the burden of goals.
The Spanish forward is averaging a goal every two games this season and, is aiding Valencia to finish as high as they can.
