Daniel Cousin didn’t manage to spend too long at Glasgow Rangers, but he certainly had his moments.
The Gabon international made the switch to Glasgow for €2.2m (£1.9m) in 2007 after having appeared for French club RC Lens. As previously mentioned, his spell with the ‘Gers was short but sweet, with him scoring 13 goals in 44 matches. During that time, the club won the Scottish Premiership in the 2007/08 season, whilst they also reached the UEFA Cup final that term.

Twitter account This is Ibrox today shared a clip of him scoring against Celtic and it has led to some Rangers supporters discussing just how good he was for them. There is a consensus that, whilst he may not have performed at his best often enough, he was at times unplayable.

Never seen a Ranger striker terrify their defence more since probably Hateley. Even then, Cousin was an absolute monster. Wish we had him longer. What a player.

Big man could have had such a better career with us if his attitude was better. On his day was unplayable. https://t.co/IRItQY0Aqc
