Southampton currently sit in a precarious position in the Premier League table with just 12 games left to be played in the season.
The Saints will meet Arsenal at the weekend, before a home encounter with fellow strugglers Fulham and an away meeting with Manchester United at the beginning of March.
And, to make matters a little more difficult for Ralph Hasenhuttl and his Southampton side, he could be without one of his main attacking threats for those games.
According to Adam Blackmore, Danny Ings is expected to remain on the sidelines for another few weeks with his manager believing he could be ready for the match against Tottenham Hotspur.

The 26-year-old, who is valued at £10.8million by Transfermarkt, picked up his latest injury against Burnley in their 1-1 draw at the beginning of the month.
The Verdict:
Indeed, hearing that Ings could be out for three games will come as a huge blow for the club and supporters as Southampton have struggled to find the back of the net on a regular basis. And, with a number of key fixtures coming up, they could slip even further into trouble.
The on-loan Liverpool forward is no stranger to injuries, however, he has been in good form for The Saints this season, having registered seven goals in his 18 Premier League appearances so far.
Hasenhuttl’s side will need to start picking up points extremely quickly over the next few months, however, without Ings in the side, their task will be all the more difficult.
