According to The Telegraph, Leicester City are now very close to confirming their first piece of business ahead of January with our resident Foxes in the Transfer Tavern excited to see it done.
Wilfred Ndidi is set to join the Premier League champions for £14 million after having his medical yesterday and all that remains to be done now is his work permit getting approval to play in this country.
The 19-year-old defensive midfielder has impressed during his time with current club Genk in Belgium and Claudio Ranieri and his men will be hoping that he can be the person to help replace N’golo Kante at the club.
The French midfielder moved to Chelsea in the summer and has been hugely missed by the Foxes whose other central midfielders just haven’t been able to match him for ability up until now.
That could change, though, with the signing of the teenager who will surely only get better as he gets older with our landlord thinking it could prove to be a very shrewd piece of business.
Have you managed to see Ndidi in action, Leicester fans? Can he replace Kante? Let us know below!
