Last summer consisted of plenty below par signings at Anfield and punters get the impression that Brendan Rodgers was lured by the low price tags.
But Liverpool fans believe it is about time the Welshman goes for broke and sign big money players.
Punters in the Tavern believe that Simon Mignolet is not a strong enough number one for the Reds.
But if they did sign Bogdan, then it would mean that Mignolet is the clear first choice meaning they would not improve in this department.
Bogdan has found himself as a free agent after failing to respond to the club’s offer of a new deal.
This means that he is expected to step into Brad Jones’ shoes, as he is also out of contract.
